Job Description
Marathon Staffing is currently hiring a CNC Mazak Mill Operator / Set-Up Machinist in your area.

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Mazak Mill Operator / Set-Up Machinist with direct Mazak machine experience. The ideal candidate will be able to independently set up, operate, and run Mazak milling equipment, read blueprints without assistance, and produce quality parts to precise specifications. This is a skilled position requiring hands-on experience with Mazak machinery and Mazatrol controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Mazak CNC milling machines independently
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications
Use Mazatrol controls to make adjustments, edits, and machine offsets
Select and install tooling as needed for production runs
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure all parts meet quality standards
Troubleshoot machining or setup issues and make corrections as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work with minimal supervision and follow production schedules efficiently

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 3 years of Mazak experience required
Experience setting up and operating Mazak CNC milling machines independently
Working knowledge of Mazatrol programming and/or editing
Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Reliable work history and ability to work overtime as needed
