Job Description

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision manufacturing? Marathon Staffing is seeking a CNC Machinist to join a dynamic team in Blytheville, AR. Position Overview:

As a CNC Machinist, you will operate and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precise metal or plastic parts in accordance with engineering specifications. Your expertise will help ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files
  • Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools
  • Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot malfunctions
  • Adjust machine settings to meet tolerances and specifications
  • Maintain documentation of work orders, logs, and quality reports
  • Perform routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
  • Follow safety protocols and keep the work environment organized
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
  • Experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Knowledge of CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and CAM software
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and measurement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling tools and materials
