Job Description
Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician (Outdoor & Facilities)

Greenville, SC Area

Marathon Staffing is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help care for and maintain a large, well-kept outdoor and facility environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys active, physical work, problem-solving, and working both outdoors and indoors as part of a supportive team.

** Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check and MVR check**

Pay & Schedule
  • $18.48/hour
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • Occasional schedule flexibility or overtime as needed

Job Duties

In this role, you’ll help keep facilities, grounds, and outdoor spaces safe, clean, and fully operational. Your work will directly support daily operations, maintenance needs, and special projects.

Daily responsibilities include:
  • General facility and grounds maintenance (indoor and outdoor)
  • Basic repairs and upkeep involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting
  • Lawn care and landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and mulching
  • Operating tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Supporting setup and breakdown of events or special activities
  • Assisting with routine maintenance, deliveries, and light equipment care
  • Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe

Requirements
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in maintenance, landscaping, construction, or a related hands-on field
  • Ability to perform physical work in all weather conditions
  • Strong reliability, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power equipment
  • Valid Class D SC Driver’s License
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must pass a background check and MVR check
