Job Description
We are now seeking a Licensed Fertilizer Technician for a Landscape company located in Marlboro, MA.

Typical work hours will be from 7:00 am until Finish (4:30pm) Monday through Friday with Occasional Saturdays based on weather permitting. May offer year round work to the right candidate.



Duties will include but not limited to:

·Apply fertilizers to lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs according to proper rates and schedules

·Assess soil and plant health to determine nutrient needs

·Mix and handle products safely, following label instructions and regulations

·Operate application equipment (spreaders, sprayers, etc.)

·Maintain records of applications (important for compliance with state laws)

·Follow environmental regulations to prevent runoff, overuse, or contamination

Requirements

·Must hold a state-issued fertilizer applicator license
  • Understanding of soil science and plant nutrition
  • Knowledge of fertilizer types (organic, synthetic, slow-release, etc.)
  • Awareness of local and federal regulations
  • Attention to detail for accurate application rates
  • Outdoor work in various weather conditions



Pay rate: starting at $25-$32 (depending on experience)
