Job Description
Now Hiring – Bus Servicer (Greenville, SC)

Marathon Staffing is seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Bus Servicers. This position plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of transit vehicles and related facilities. Position Details
  • Schedule:
    • Monday–Friday: 9:30 PM – 1:30 AM
    • Saturday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
    • Some nights and weekends as needed

  • Pay: $17.24/hour
  • Location: Greenville, SC

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize bus interiors including seats, floors, windows, driver areas, and ADA securements
  • Sweep, mop, and remove trash, debris, and litter from transit vehicles
  • Operate bus wash systems to clean exterior of vehicles including tires and rims
  • Clean upholstery using specialized machines and approved cleaning chemicals
  • Maintain cleanliness of wash bay areas including floors, restrooms, trash removal, and supply restocking
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and follow all PPE and safety procedures
  • Perform basic vehicle checks including fluids (oil, coolant, transmission, DEF) and report issues or maintenance needs
  • Fuel buses and assist with basic operational readiness tasks
  • Probe and empty fareboxes as required
  • Maintain accurate cleaning logs, records, and documentation
  • Report safety concerns, mechanical issues, or supply needs
  • Assist with training new Bus Servicers on cleaning procedures, PPE usage, and station tasks when needed

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and PPE requirements
  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement
  • Reliable attendance and transportation
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and varying schedules
  • Training provided for entry-level candidates
