Job Description
Marathon Staffing is seeking candidates for multiple temp-to-perm, Assembler positions available immediately in Salisbury NC!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Secure and maintain proper component parts and supplies needed for production

  • Set up and organize work areas prior to production

  • Assemble parts according to written instructions and quality standards

  • Operate hand tools to complete assembly tasks

  • Stack finished products following established procedures; cover, label, and band materials as required

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

  • Perform pre-shift and start-up equipment inspections and report any issues

  • Maintain accurate production records

  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and compliance standards are met

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

Requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience working with lumber preferred

  • Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures

  • Ability to follow specific instructions and directions

  • Experience using hand tools and other production equipment

  • Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English

  • Pay & Growth

  • Starting pay: $16.00 per hour

  • Pay increases based on experience

  • Additional pay increase upon full-time hire
