Job Description

Marathon Staffing is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Assemblers / Wire Processors! This is a great opportunity to start a career in manufacturing with a company that provides on-the-job training and room for growth.

Assembler / Wire Processor – Entry Level
📍 Marathon Staffing
💲 Pay: $15.00 per hour
🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📌 Position Type: Temp-to-Hire Potential

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify wire colors and read small printed numbers on wires accurately
  • Cut, strip, and crimp wires using hand tools or automated equipment
  • Assemble wire harnesses by following written instructions, diagrams, and schematics
  • Install terminals, connectors, seals, and heat-shrink tubing
  • Label wires and components correctly
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure accuracy and proper assembly
  • Bundle and route wires using zip ties, protective tubing, and other materials
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Report defects or discrepancies to supervisors

Qualifications:

✔ Ability to identify wire colors accurately
✔ Ability to read small printed numbers on wires (corrective lenses are acceptable)
✔ Basic hand tool experience preferred
✔ Strong attention to detail
✔ Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
✔ No prior experience required – training provided!
✔ High school diploma or GED preferred

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing/assembly setting
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Light to moderate lifting (up to 25–40 lbs)
  • PPE provided by the customer
