Job Description

Marathon Staffing is Hiring – 3rd Shift Laser Operator (Jonesboro, AR)

Marathon Staffing is now hiring a 3rd Shift Laser Operator for long-term manufacturing opportunities in Jonesboro, AR.

This is a temp-to-hire position with potential conversion based on performance and business needs.

Pay & Schedule:

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • 3rd Shift (overnight schedule)
  • Full-time with possible overtime

Job Duties:

  • Operate laser cutting machines in a production environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Use tape measures and basic measuring tools accurately
  • Load and unload materials safely
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain safe operation of equipment and workspace
  • Assist with material handling and general production tasks

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Must pass background check and drug screen (THC included – no medical marijuana accepted)
  • Must be able to work in a safety-sensitive environment with moving equipment
