Job Description

Now Hiring: Experienced Maintenance Mechanic I
Location: Steel/Iron Warehouse – Newnan, GA

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform basic preventive maintenance, assist with machinery and building repairs, and support the Maintenance team under direct supervision.

Requirements

  • High school diploma

  • 1+ year maintenance/machine repair experience

  • Basic electrical, hydraulic, control system, and welding knowledge

  • Understanding of safety regulations and hazardous material handling

  • Must be 18+ and able to pass a drug test

Skills

  • Ability to read blueprints/technical diagrams

  • Basic computer and math skills

  • Able to follow instructions and identify safety issues

  • Comfortable using precision tools and manual tools

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility

  • Assist with repairs on machinery, tools, forklifts, and systems

  • Maintain maintenance records and order parts

  • Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures
