Job Description

Marathon Staffing is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Election Representatives! If you're looking to make some extra money while supporting the election process, this may be the opportunity for you!

Job Description

As an Election Representative, you may perform a variety of election-related duties, including:

  • Clerical and administrative tasks
  • Counting ballots and verifying signatures
  • Operating election equipment, including scanners, tabulators, and other voting machines
  • Data entry
  • Other duties as assigned

These positions require accuracy, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Position Details

  • Start Date: TBD
  • Assignment Length: Most positions range from 1 day,  1 week to 30 days
  • Schedule: Varies; must be flexible to work day or evening shifts, including weekends
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Requirements

  • Must be a registered voter
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test (zero tolerance for all drugs)
  • Some positions require basic computer skills and comfort using a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make appropriate decisions
