Job Description

 Marathon Staffing and a global leading lumber company located at Salisbury N.C. NOW HIRING!!!

Join Our Team as a General Laborer!!

Fast Hire!!! MUST HAVE PRIOR MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE!!

This is a long-term, full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with room for growth. We are hiring immediately and encourage dependable, hard-working individuals to apply. 

Pay: $16.00 per hour, opportunity to make up to $25 depending on production pay and daily production bonus. 


Schedule
Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Overtime opportunities available on Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure and maintain correct component parts and supplies for operations.
  • Grading lumber 
  • Stacking lumber up to 18ft
  • Ensuring stack counts are correct 
  • General plant housekeeping
  • Set up work areas efficiently.
  • Assemble parts following instructions and quality standards.
  • Operate hand tools to complete assembly tasks.
  • Stack, cover, label, and band finished products as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Perform equipment inspections and report issues.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures diligently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
