Job Description

To assist Sanitation Supervisor in functions including organizing and directing the daily activities of the department.

Qualifications

· Must have knowledge of sanitation procedures and tasks analysis, sanitation chemicals and their proper use.

· Able to perform all sanitation jobs.

· Able to work varied hours and overtime as required.

Ability to handle/lift up to 35lbs

Duties

· Inspect all plant areas including production, storage, office and bathroom areas and exterior areas including parking lots and determine sanitation needs.

· Distribute tools and personal protective equipment as needed.

· Directs Sanitor 1 and Sanitor 2 in their daily duties.

· May perform any assignments necessary in employee’s absence.

· Assume department responsibility in supervisor’s absence.

· Comply and enforce all plant safety rules and GMP’s.

· Keeps track of supply needs and usage.

· Report any discrepancies or incidents of any nature to the sanitation supervisor.

Additional Information

· 3rd shift: 8:00pm-4:30am with occasional overtime
