Job Description
Marathon Staffing is hiring in Newnan,GA!

Position Summary
The Non-CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting finished products, raw materials, and supplies between manufacturing facilities, warehouses, vendors, and customers using company vehicles. This position will also assists with loading, unloading, and general warehouse duties while ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with all safety regulations. Must be comfortable with working in both manufacturing facility and outdoors while making local deliveries. The role requires regular interaction with warehouse personnel, production teams, vendors, and customers and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and moving equipment.

Schedule is typically Monday- Friday some Saturdays 7:00am- 4:00pm.

Essential Job Duties
  • Safely operate a company box truck, cargo van, or pickup truck.
  • Deliver products and materials to customers and other company locations.
  • Pick up raw materials, supplies, and equipment from vendors.
  • Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipping paperwork, and vehicle records.
  • Verify orders and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse organization when not driving.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
  • Follow delivery schedules while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations applicable to non-CDL vehicles, company policies, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle and work area. Typical responsibilities include safe transportation, inspections, documentation, and loading/unloading.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and clean MVR. MUST be able to pass a DOT physical.
  • Minimum of 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
  • Basic knowledge of shipping documents and inventory procedures.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb in and out of delivery vehicles.
  • Ability to load and unload materials safely.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with local delivery routes.
  • Experience operating box trucks (16–26 ft).
  • Strong attention to detail and safety.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
