Part-Time Loaders /Unloaders

Job Description

We are looking for reliable and physically fit Loaders/Unloaders to manage the incoming and outgoing flow of freight. In this role, you will safely and efficiently load and unload cargo from trailers, containers, and delivery trucks, ensuring all shipments are handled carefully and organized properly in our facility.

Key Responsibilities
Load & Unload: Efficiently move, stack, and stage materials out of or into trailers and shipping containers.

Material Handling: Manually lift, carry, and sort packages of varying sizes and weights; utilize warehouse equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) safely.

Quality & Verification: Inspect incoming cargo for damage, report discrepancies, and verify piece counts against shipping manifests or bills of lading.

Inventory & Staging: Organize and place inventory in designated warehouse storage zones or staging areas for distribution.

Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock area; follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques.

Qualifications & Requirements
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout a shift in a fast-paced environment.

Reliability: Strong attendance record and punctuality.

Teamwork: Ability to work well with a team and take direction from shift supervisors.
