Maintenance Engineer

Job Description
Purpose: 
Manage personnel, material, and budgetary resources to ensure compliance with maintenance programs to optimize the availability of equipment in plants, as well as efficiently execute projects that are commissioned by the organization, complying with national regulations and policies of quality, safety, environment, and health of the company

Responsibilities: 
• Establish or maintain a maintenance management system that allows the best maintenance practices to be applied and that accompanies the company's innovations, seeking to optimize the availability of equipment. 
• Define Maintenance Strategies to guarantee the required availability of the Plant. 
• Elaborate, execute, and control the Maintenance Budget. 
• Ensure that the works in the plant are executed in accordance with the company's policies, guidelines, legal orders, regulations, and procedures. 
• To permanently ensure the availability of the necessary resources for the optimal execution of the area's activities. 
• Ensure the availability of guidelines and/or procedures for the execution of activities in the area, whether carried out by our own personnel or subcontracted. 
• Ensure proper planning, procurement and execution of Maintenance Projects. 
• Approve the annual preventive and predictive maintenance plans for the plants.
• Approve requirements for equipment, spare parts, materials and services. 
 Ensure compliance with the Development and Training Plan for Maintenance Management personnel. 
• Ensure compliance with Company Management Policies and Procedures. 
• Ensure the development of a work culture based on Companies values. 
• Ensure the proper execution of contractor work executed at your plant as part of the maintenance program, according to companies procedures. 
• To inform the General Management of the results of the maintenance strategies implemented 

Experience & Knowledge: 
• Engineering Degree or Technical Studies Degree/Certificate (Engineering or similar) 
• +8 years of experience in production/maintenance related positions (From these, 5 years leading a maintenance crew with experience in planning the installation of new equipment) 
• Advanced skills in PLC (creation and modification programs and HMI – Allen Bradley preferably) 
• Advanced skills in robots (KUKA, ABB) 
• Advanced skills in Pneumatics 
• Advanced skills in Hydraulics 
• Advanced skills in electricity, medium voltage, high voltage 
• Basic knowledge of Power BI 
• Good knowledge about: 5S, Problem Solving 8D, Project Management 
• Internal Auditor Certification for CE 
• Fluent English 
• MS Office intermediate 
• Leadership skills 
• Able to organize, plan and prioritize activities 
• Capable to identify, analyze and prevent risks 
• Creation and modification programs – KUKA robot preferably 
• Vision system – creation and modification programs - Keyence or Cognex – Cognex preferably
