Job Description
Marathon Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for a Direct Hire, Customer Service Representative for a client in Phoenix, AZ!

Customer Service Reps provide exceptional customer service, inside sales support, account and order management, order entry, invoicing and quoting for client customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides support in determining resolutions to customer inquiries and quoting 10 %
• Accurate order entry, providing quotes, checking pricing, coordinating with other departments, notifying customers of shipment information and assisting other inside sales reps, as needed 30%
• Provides all information necessary to satisfy customer inquiries, offers alternatives to help resolve problems, follows up on quotes, provides submittals and/or certifications when requested, and provides shipping dates/notification/ tracking info 20%
• Maintains / files all proper records related to customer inquires, orders, and customer requests related to specific jobs/orders 5%
• Maintains orders on client tracking form and forwards to upper management and sales team daily 5%
• Communicates with shop to determine delivery dates and following up on existing orders 10%
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails from customers 5%
• File completed paperwork ( orders, receipts, etc) 3%
• Other miscellaneous duties as required 2%

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to communicate on all levels
• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
• Strong sense of urgency in meeting internal and external customer needs
• Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook software
• Strong data entry skills
• Able to manage information from multiple locations
• Requires diligent presence in work area to be responsive to customer calls and e-mails
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects while meeting all required deadlines

Qualifications:
• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
• At least (3) years of Customer Service experience (NON RETAIL)
• Experience in Manufacturing environment preferred, not required
• Must pass a full background check and drug test

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime, as needed or requested.

Pay range is between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
