Job Description

Job Description:

Distribution Warehouse Worker 2nd  shift

Location: Newburyport, MA

 

Payrate: $19.50 an hour               

Job Duties for Distribution Associates include:

 

* Performs tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise and products

* Checks goods received for distribution against purchase orders and/or invoices

* Maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items

* Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weight and shipping charges

* Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped

* Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes products and materials in distribution center 

 

Ideal candidate qualifications include:

 • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

 • Minimum 1-year experience. 

 • General experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook) •

 • Speak and understand English 

 • Must have high attention to detail, excellent listening/communication skills 

 • Must have a valid driver’s license  •

 • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
