Job Description

What you need to know

  • Hourly Pay Rage $15.00
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm – Overtime and weekends required as election gets closer
  • Full Time, Temporary
  • Located in Downtown Phoenix
  • Benefits Available – Medical, Dental, Vision, Term Life, Short-Term Disability

What you’ll be doing

This position conducts a variety of data entry and administrative duties related to voter registration services. Must be a multitasker, who works with high-volume, time sensitive work.

You will be responsible for…

  • Operates a computer to access voter registration files for proofing, correcting and inputting voter registration records into the voter registration database
  • Performs research and signature verification of Primary/General Election provisional Ballots to be verified and counted
  • Researches and verifies signatures for recall, initiative, referendum and nomination petitions
  • Employees assist other workgroups in the Election division

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-year of experience clerical experience
  • 6-months of data entry experience
  • Must be able to work extensive mandatory overtime during the Primary/General Elections
  • Must be a registered voter in the State of Arizona
  • Must pass an applicable background screening
  • Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift floor-to-shoulder and shoulder-to-waist a minimum of 25 pounds and carry for 100 feet
