Job Description
Marathon Staffing is seeking reliable candidates for multiple temp-to-hire, 2nd Shift, Tagger positions available immediately in Belchertown, MA!!!

Taggers are responsible for accurately tagging product for shipment, pick up, and/or storage.

Duties include, but may not be limited to:

- Moves and secures products and other materials according to instructions
- Stacks finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements
- Labels material based on the following specifications: type, size, and count
- Applies individual tags to material before/after treating/production
- Bands, bundles and secures material, including attaching corner protectors and loading sticks
- Ensures correct quantities and material are strapped, labeled before leaving the work area
- Maintains accurate inventory of tags and reports any problems or discrepancies to supervisor
- Records production on production sheets
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Assists with other work areas by moving material, loading and unloading material carts

Requirements include, but may not be limited to:

- Able to read, write and speak English
- Prior experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment
- Working knowledge of basic math and read a tape measure
- Ability to read a tape measure

Pay Rate is $16.00 per hour to start.  Pay increase and GREAT benefits upon full time hire!!!

Hours are 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, as requested/needed.
