Job Description
Marathon is seeking dynamic candidates for Direct Hire, Sales Manager positions available immediately in Triana, AL!!

Client develops and manufactures tools for surveying and mapping, offering a wide range of highly technical hardware and software solutions.  The Sales Manager would be responsible for selling products and software suites to direct clients and resellers!

Duties include, but may not be limited to:

• Consultative sales approach, listening and understanding a customer’s problem before determining a solution
• Foster and deliver on our customer intimate methodology
• Capture, update, manage all account information in Dynamics CRM
• Work well in a highly collaborative and productive environment
• Actively engage with prospects from initial interest to purchase, working with complex and lengthy sales cycles.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline and contribute to client's technically superior reputation
• Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars

Requirements include, but may not be limited to:

• Experience in the geospatial/surveying/mapping industry is REQUIRED!
• 3-5 years of professional inside or direct sales experience, with a proven record of success.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills- ability to collaborate with other departments internally.
• Ability to travel extensively to meet customers, go to trade shows, etc.
• Be passionate about products and persistent in achieving long-term customers!
• Self-motivation and willingness to continually learn is a must.
• Understanding of and/or willingness to learn basic statistical analysis
• CRM experience preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus
• Valid US driver license
 
Base Salary range is $80 - $100K, with additional sales-based commission (which can go up to 30% of base salary).  Employer paid benefits for individuals, 401K with matching, vacation time and more!!
