Pandemic Enrolment Specialist

Job Description

Our client located in Carson City is seeking a motivated individual in northern Nevada to recruit, enroll, and educate provider clinics into the pandemic vaccine program for COVID-19 vaccine distribution statewide. COVID-19 vaccine expected late October, early November.d providers. This is you opportunity to help your friends and neighbors strafe safe.

 

 General Description

 

Plays an integral role in keeping all Nevadans (young and old) healthy by providing enrolled pediatric clinics, adult provider clinics and OB/GYN clinics throughout Nevada with Federally Funded or State Funded vaccines for vaccine preventable diseases.

The Nevada State Immunization Program is seeking a motivated individual in northern Nevada to recruit, enroll, and educate provider clinics into the pandemic vaccine program for COVID-19 vaccine distribution statewide. COVID-19 vaccine expected late October, early November.

 

Responsibilities and Standards

·         Working closely with and under the guidance of the state Vaccine Manager and the Southern Nevada Storage and Handling Coordinator to enroll pandemic providers,

·         Developing and building effective, collaborative relationships with providers and their staff,

·         Learning about and installing digital data loggers in new provider vaccine storage units,

·         Educating providers and their staff on proper storage units for vaccine and storage guidelines as outlined by the manufacturer and by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)

 

Requirements

(Education, experience and/or professional licensure)

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in public administration or a related field; OR Graduation from high school, or the equivalent, and four years of previous experience either performing or assessing in the planning, coordinating, or administering of a program; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
