Job Description
Production Technician III Londonderry, NH Marathon Staffing has a client that is one of the largest defense contractors looking to hire a Production Technician III in the Londonderry, NH area. We are hiring during Covid-19. Hours/Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Weekend Shift) Rate of Pay: $26-$30/hour plus a 15% differential. The Production Technician will provide support to the production line with unit alignment, assembly, and test. Responsibilities: • Assemble, align, and test, systems, components and sub-assemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements. • Troubleshoot and repair systems in production • Identifies, utilizes, and performs preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment. • May assemble parts primarily using advanced-level soldering techniques. • May be required to set up and operate Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), such as Oscilloscopes, Multi-meters, and Power Supplies. • Assemble components and sub-assemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements. • Performs basic computer activities with programs provided. • Demonstrate comprehension of engineering prints and schematics. • Reports deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and obtains quality inspection when appropriate. • Supports Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement. • Routinely conducts training of lower level Technicians or Testers. • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures. • Applies considerable English language skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Applies considerable math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. • Cultivates a culture that assures effective cross functional team work. • Performs job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures. • Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values. • Consistently at work and on-time. Education/Experience: • High School diploma or GED • 2-year technical degree • If applicable, IPC J-STD-001 Solder certification required with soldering. • 5 years’+ related experience • Advanced-level soldering with certification, if applicable. • Computer skills required (Excel, Word); LabView program preferred. • Demonstrated proficiency at operating 50%-75% of work stations as documented by training records.
