Police IT Project Manager

Job Description
The worker responsible for project management in planning, coordinating and managing the Professional Standards Critical Incident Response model update consistent with the recommendations set forth by the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) and recommendations presented by the independent use of force consultants. The agency worker will develop a project plan, facilitate meetings with police staff, to include committee and sub-committees in support of project activies; scheduling, tracking activities in order to meet project objectives and to ensure overall quality of work. The agency worker will work with IT staff to provide guidance in the development of a visual use of force dashboard that illustrates use of force metrics intended for public consumers. The agency worker does not need to be PMP certified, but must have the needed skills, knowledge and abilities to succeed in this role. The agency worker must also complete a background before their work can commence.
