Job Description

We are now seeking Production Associates in Inman, SC

Essential Functions

1. Read and review set up sheets.
2. Obtain material, dies and reels needed for production.
3. Operate machines in accordance with S.M.I. and process sheet instructions.
4. Perform O.S.I. inspections.
5. Complete test reports, print labels and complete other documentation as required.
6. Maintain balances and production reports.
7. Must be crossed trained to run core machinery in assigned manufacturing area.
8. Maintain cleanliness of the department, the machinery and the floor area around the machinery.
9. Comply with any special instructions as needed.

Knowledge and Experience
• Skill in communicating effectively, orally and in writing, and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.


Physical Demands & Work Environment
• Work is performed in a manufacturing plant with exposure to loud noise. Work may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosive, fumes or airborne particles.
• Must be able to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; talk; hear; and smell.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, walk, sit, reach, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see.
• Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in the manufacturing plant environment, including hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and other protective equipment as required.
• Must be able to exhibit clear vision at 20 inches or less; and exhibit clear vision at 20 feet or more.
• Must be able to identify and distinguish colors.
• Must be able to exhibit solid peripheral vision; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point.
• Must be able to exhibit solid depth perception; three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships.
• Must be able to adjust visual focus; adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
• Routinely required to lift objects up to 25 pounds; and occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during course of a workday.
• Routinely required to push and pull objects up to 100 pounds; and occasionally may be required to push and pull moderately heavy objects (up to 500 pounds) and perform other similar actions during course of a workday.
• We are drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and for cause drug testing.

Hours are 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be requested or required!

Pay rate is $13.50 per hour.
